      • Publication of Books and Pamphlets

  • Interventions:
    • Participation in addressing problems that affect education, through:
        1. Addressing Primary School Education System:
          • Intervening in Col. MM Jumare Model Primary School Kofar Gayan, Zaria.
          • provision of furniture
          • Creating and Motivating the PTA
          • Provision of Infrastructure (e.g Hygienic well)
          • Equipping Staff Room
          • Empowering in Primary School Education in Zazzau Emirate
          Offer of Scholarships and Bursary Awards To:
          • Indigent Students
          • Disabled Students
          • Brilliant Students
          Remedial Classes:
          • To enable weak secondary school leavers secure required credits for admission into tertiary institutions.
          Vocational Training:
          • Modeled after National Directorate of Employment for youth who cannot continue with formal education are offered training in various skills for them to be useful members of the society
          • The scheme is gender sensitive and conscious of the need to stimulate entrepreneurial skills in youth.
          Jamb Clinic:
          • A Forum for coaching candidates towards successful JAMB Examination for admission into Nigerian universities.
          • A Psychological and educational preparatory class whereby candidates are guided against examination malpractice.
    • Collaboration
          ZEDA cannot achieve its objectives alone. It has therefore been collaborating with several donor agencies and other associations within the state and at the grassroots level. For example,ZEDA
          • Collaborated with UNICEF on girl child education.
          • Collaborated and jointly addressed the menace of exams malpractice with JAMB, NTI and F.C.E.Zaria.
          • Collaborated with the Federal Ministry of Education.
          • Interacted with the British Council on education and NGO’s
          • Collaborated with Wards and community Development Association such as Kaura Development Association, Anguwan Juma Development Association, Tudun Wada Elders’ Forum, Kofar Doka Youth Development Association, Kakaki Development Association and Kwarbai Development Association in addressijg issues on education. ZEDA’s doors are open to progressive Associations towards improving the lots of children and youth as well as achieve its goals.
